We are about a month away from Baby K’s due date (don’t even get me started on how inaccurate I think it is… #mamaalreadyknowsbest). Anyways, we tackled the nursery as soon as the furniture got delivered; I could not stand the sight of ginormous boxes taking over the laundry room. That, and let’s face it, I was too dang excited I couldn’t even stand it. The furniture has been set up for months (and the stroller has been parked in the hallway since long before that…oops) and everything else has slowly continued coming together.
Gauge has been such a trooper putting up with my doing and redoing of the nursery, rehanging things because they aren’t “perfect”, and not saying a word when I literally outlined every frame in pencil; Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to the rescue guys! And my measuring was completely off too, so, hubby saves the day again.
I am obsessed and can’t wait until our sweet little babe is sleeping soundly (Lord willing) in his sweet little crib.
SURPRISE! WE ALSO GOT A 4D ULTRASOUND!
At 32 weeks, we scheduled a 4D ultrasound with the family-owned sonography business that revealed K’s gender back at 17 weeks (we LOVE them and could not recommend them enough). Their equipment is top notch, they spend so much time with us and make sure we get every image we want, and let’s be real, their bed is the comfiest thing I have ever laid on…literally softer than a cloud.

He is still measuring bigger than “normal” — 4lbs 9oz (as of 4/21), with the fattest cheeks and the juiciest lips! He stays cuddled to the very inside of me and his umbilical cord is his bff.
I teased Gauge on the way to the appointment about K sleeping through the entire thing, which would be ironic because he is always kicking around and SURE ENOUGH… he slept through the entire ultrasound and woke up as soon as we got back in the car. Stubborn like his daddy, but please tell me he is not already the cutest little love. We can’t wait to meet this sweet boy!
